Hello
My name is Iain Mackay
I have 25 years of performing experience as a Principal Dancer with The Birmingham Royal Ballet. In 2021 I was appointed by the Royal Ballet School as their International Artistic Manager leading all of their international auditions and delivering masterclasses around the world. from 2017 - 2022 I was Director of the internationally recognised Yorkshire Ballet Seminars, delivering intensive courses and creating training opportunities for dancers aged 11 - 19. I have also served on the board of The Royal Ballet Companies and The Royal Academy of Dance.

I am passionate about helping young dancers reach their full potential through my teaching methods and using a hybrid of online and in person sessions.
